Dexter, my new man-crush

Yup, I have a new show to fill the addiction in my life. Lost had its final season this year, and I loved each and every episode.
You can definitely call me a Lost fan.

But now, I have discovered the show Dexter. If you have a weak stomach, can't tolerate language, and think that serial killing is bad, then this show isn't for you.
I am only in the first season, but it has already pulled me in.

Here is a little taste of the show.
Opening Credits

Let me know if you are a Dexter fan also, or if you aren't, what shows are you addicted to? Which ones should I indulge in next?

Video Post

Wow, this is my first post before the sun has gone down. It's only 6 PM here is AZ, and I have been in my nice quiet room since I have arrived home from work.

I made a short little video, hopefully I can upload it.

Nate - First Video Post

So... That's about it. Let me know with your comments, if you think I should do it or not.
Have a fantastic day! Please follow, if you're not already. If you are, invite friends that may or may not know me. :)

Piano Songs = HARD

Just a quick post tonight. I've been learning these songs. They are a little tough though - I haven't given up yet.

The Luckiest - Ben Folds

Carrying Cathy - Ben Folds

Fired - Ben Folds

A prize goes to the person who can figure out what all three of these songs have in common.

I have had a wonderful week. My family has been in San Clemente all week, and I've stayed home and played the piano, watched movies, played with friends, washed my car and read books. Even with my XBOX 360 breaking the first 20 minutes of playing it after the family left, I have had a wonderful time. Thank you to all my friends who have journeyed alongside me in this aberrant week.

Sorry to any of my four followers who are expecting something funny, or a witty comment. I'm tired, had a fun time with my best friends Lauren and Jordan!

I died and went to heaven. Twice.

So after work, I headed over to an old friend's house, because she needed help setting up her new toy.

As a thank you, she cooked me a magnificent 12 oz Porterhouse steak! I can't believe I finished all of it. (I didn't eat all the carrots though)

Yummy. With the first bite, I knew I had indeed died.

I now have a problem. I don't think I can ever watch any movie or tv show (or even play any video game) on any other tv.

Can I borrow 3 Gs from anyone??? I'll let you come over anytime to watch. :)

I am tired. Just got home. Left the house at 8 this morning. Have to work again tomorrow. Then parties and sleeping all weekend. (Only if I stay deceased in heaven)

Always Sunny with Jordan Hatch

Hung out with Jordan Hatch tonight and ate Taco Bell and watched Always Sunny in Philli. I was going to upload a picture, but failed. :(

Update:
Alright, so I found this picture on Jordan's Facebook page. It is my favorite one of his.
Jordan is the one on the left, looking at the camera
So it's a first for two things today. First post by text message, and first day to not have to worry about waking anybody up for watching movies at 3AM.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, It's Jet!

That's right, I used a commonly known line that refers to the Man of Steel to introduce my greatest Idaho-based friend, Jet Arnett!

fig 1. Jet Arnett

Tonight, I had the wonderful privilege of having a two hour conversation with this amazing young lady via Skype! It was so much fun to talk to her and make faces at each other, while secretly flirting with each other via the text messaging below our video session. :)

Jet, you made my day. (You and Melanie Avans, for bringing me a box of blue gummy sharks)
fig 2. Blue Gummy Sharks (Not Melanie Avans)

Tonight could only have been better if I had the ability to talk to Jet in person, instead of over the internets. Maybe someday I'll create a teleportation device that won't give me fly-like attributes every time I teleport.

I know it is 1:55 in the morn, and that technically all this happened last night, but considering that I am still wide awake, I will count this current night all as one.

Here is a poem to end the night.

Goodnight Jet.
Goodnight Shark.
Goodnight Melanie.
Goodnight cow jumping over the moon (in the dark).
- It had to rhyme to allude to Goodnight Moon -

The One Day When We Give Back

I, personally, am very glad that I have my dad, to be my father!

He is the greatest dad alive, and has always helped me and taught me how to become the man I am today.
I am currently looking through old, but wonderful photos of him and me, and I'm just trying to figure out which one deserves the Blog upload.
So I found this one... Jimmy, Nate (Me), Daddy, and Alec - Raking Leaves in Utah! =D
c.1992

Nate (Me), Dad, and Jimmy - Carving Pumpkins c.1991

So, I might be uploading more old-school pictures, you'll just have to keep coming back to find out!

Howdy Partner

Hey Y'all,
Tonight I was at a YSA activity that was Western-Themed, where I met a lot of new people while helping Cherish Edwards with the "Donut on the string eating contest" Booth.

Apparently, I was the only one who got the memo for the western theme, so I was the only one dressed for the occasion. Anywhere else, I may have been laughed at, but here in Gilbert, Arizona, people are used to the occasional cowboy.

I am still not good at Blog-writing, but Lauren says I just need to practice, and someday I will be as amazing as she is. I am just going to start by trying to upload a few sentences, along with a picture or video, everyday, of something I did that day. (P.S. Today I also "Made Magik" with Lauren, which means I mixed music for her, so she could have tracks edited and cut for her synchro team... I'll try to upload some mixes tomorrow)

Hello World!

I began this amazing blog because of my sweet friend, Lauren Pulsipher. I spend my every day in her beautiful presence; the other night we each ventured to see the midnight premeire of Toy Story 3 and although I arrived with a car load of chatty, obnoxious, jam-handed 12 year olds... I sat beside Lauren.
Because that's what best friends do.
Even though they may not start the night side by side, they can't help but end that way.

Here's to you, Lauren Pulsipher.
